Maracá presents a concert and introductory workshop in Carimbó, the traditional music and dance of the Pará, region of the Brazilian Amazon. Its origins lie in the meeting of indigenous, Afro-descendant and Portuguese peoples. Its rhythm is frenetic, its dance captivating, its songs inspired by nature, struggles, legends and the daily life of the region.
On friday, the 19.7. food is served at 6 pm, the workshop and concert start at 7 pm.
Maracá präsentiert: Carimbó-Konzert und Workshop. Carimbó ist traditionelle Musik und Tanz aus Pará, einer Region des brasilianischen Amazonasgebiets. Seine Ursprünge liegen im Zusammentreffen von indigenen, afro-brasilianischen und portugiesischen Gruppen. Ihr Rhythmus ist frenetisch, ihr Tanz fesselnd, ihre Lieder inspiriert von der Natur, Konflikten, Legenden und dem täglichen Leben in der Region.
Am Freitag, den 19.7. gibt's ab 18 Uhr Essen, der Workshop und das Konzert beginnen um 19 Uhr.
Die Veranstaltumg findet an der Tanke des Gutshof Neuendorf im Sande statt.
